I am a duly enrolled and registered notary practising from offices in Preston, Chorley and Accrington, Lancashire.  I am a member of The Notaries Society and have a Diploma in Notarial Practice. 
I aim to provide friendly, effective and efficient notarial services to individuals and commercial firms throughout Lancashire.  I undertake notarial work for all countries including the following matters:

  • Attesting powers of attorney
  • Certification of facts relating to individuals and corporations
  • Certification of documents and copies
  • Affidavits and declarations
  • American acknowledgements
  • Change of name deeds
  • Ship protests
  • Noting and protesting of foreign negotiable instruments (eg bill of exchange, promissory note or cheque)
  • Openings of bond and debenture stock operations and share issue ballots
  • Legalisation services (apostilles and consular legalisation)

I am usually able to see clients at relatively short notice but please telephone first to discuss your requirements.  Out-of-hours appointments are available from my home near Chorley by prior arrangement.  I also have a consulting room in Accrington where I am able to see clients strictly by appointment.  A mobile service is also available where necessary/on request but additional charges may apply. 
Before you make an appointment to see me, you might wish to note the following points:

    • You will need to produce identity documents – usually your passport and a utility bill.
    • You should understand the document to be notarially certified, particularly a document which is not in English.
    • You should bring with you all relevant papers from whoever has asked you to have a document notarised.
